So it's Friday morning
i have tweeted and fb's already and my tea has gone cold!
My DD is off to school today as Pippi Longstockings which has had me rushing around and in the end cutting up a pair of her spotty jeans as i couldn't find her shorts!

Anyhoo, i am tired and ever so slightly emotional
i have had a couple of meltdowns the past few nights but i have had the most amazing support from my twitter and facebook friends!
I really know i would have taken an age to do this without all the help.

I have stepped way beyond my comfort zone
i am up Everest right now and think i am running out of oxygen!

So with 35 votes to go
I am off to nag a few more folk

so last week i applied for a grant
here with the fab folk from Enterprise nation.

I thought it would be easy, i mean i have over 2500 likers on facebook
2400 plus on twitter ... simple!
How wrong could i be!

My plan was to give myself a week to get all the votes and as i type this now i need another 110 votes.
I have tweeted so much i bet people cringe and runaway when they see i am on twitter!
I have facebooked beyond all belief.. every comment, status update and minute on there has revolved around the voting.

I am going to write a bit of a how i did it after i have got all the votes!
I hope this will help others who have taken the step and applied too.

starting out

This blog is about our family struggles with the garden
Us v's the weeds and general cr*p we have filling up my shed space!


Our big plan for this year is to building a summer house/ workshop in the garden
you know one of those pretty places with lovely tubs of cottage garden flowers and all that!
It will be a back drop for my images for the website and for others to use that's if they don't mind the sound of me sewing!
An escape for me to do book work and chat to people
A place to sew in the summer
and much more but that will become clear as we go along x

this is what the greenhouse looked like last year, after years of being battered by the wind and weather! It was used to store the plants for the flower shop i had.

this has to go very soon as this Winters storms have really taken it's toll and now it is dangerous.
This is the spot i have ear marked for the summerhouse x
